MaxSys is recruiting for a Sorter in the Waste Management Industry in Berry Mills, New Brunswick.
MaxSys is currently recruiting for reliable individuals to join our client’s team as Dry Waste Sorters. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting recyclable dry materials such as paper, cardboard, plastics, and metals from mixed waste streams to ensure proper processing and recycling.
Responsibilities:

• Manually sort dry recyclable materials on a conveyor line or designated sorting area.
• Identify and separate non-recyclable or contaminated items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:

• Clean criminal background.
• Steel toe safety shoes.
• Reliable transportation required as this location is not on a bus route.
• Ability to perform physical requirements including standing, sitting, bending etc.

We offer:

• Rate of pay: $16.30/h + 4% vacation pay, paid weekly
• Monday- Friday from 4:30pm- 1:00am
