On-Call Manufacturing Helper

MaxSys is recruiting for several On-Call Manufacturing Helpers in the Manufacturing & Production Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Looking for flexible, short-term work? Join a biomedical team for a short-term assignment focused on detailed, quota-driven tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable being on-call and available for last-minute shifts when needed.
Responsibilities:

• Remove adhesives from containers using designated tools
• Conduct inspections before and after removal
• Ensure tasks are completed quickly and accurately
• Comfortable doing repetitive tasks, alone or in a team setting
• Meet daily quotas
• Follow detailed procedural instructions
• Collaborate with other helpers
• Maintain cleanliness and safety

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, minimum requirement (WES Evaluation required if obtained outside of Canada)
• Must be willing to complete a criminal background check
• Must be willing to complete health & safety training
• Steel toe boots may be required
• Experience in a quota-driven environment is ideal
• Able to follow detailed instructions and communication
• Flexibility and availability for last-minute assignments is ideal

Soft skills:

• Strong communication; verbal, oral, written
• Able to work with a team or independently with minimal direction
• Reliable and punctual

Total compensation:

• $20.42 hourly
• 6:30 am–6:30 pm
• Temporary Contract
• On-call, last-minute shift availability required
