Solderer

Are you an experienced Solderer looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable client?
MaxSys is recruiting for a Solderer in the electro-mechanical assembly industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
As a Solderer, you will be responsible for soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). This includes performing both SMT and Thru-hole soldering as well as mechanical assembly of boards. You will also use a microscope periodically throughout the day and solder wires of various gauges. This is an ongoing position with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Responsibilities:

• Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Perform SMT and Thru-hole soldering
• Conduct mechanical assembly of boards
• Handle multi-layer boards, lifting and turning them as needed
• Rework boards on both top and bottom
• Use a microscope periodically

Successful candidates will have:

• 2+ years of experience in soldering components on circuit boards, preferred
• Thru-hole soldering and surface mount soldering (SMT soldering)
• Ability to understand visual aids and wiring lists
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Total compensation:

• $19.00 hourly
• 4% vacation paid out weekly
• Weekly pay
